Carter is starting to warm up to the idea of a little sister. He asks all the time what Hailey is doing and he gets really concerned when she cries. He has been helping out with diaper changes and bath times! When changing her diapers, he rubs her belly and he has been helping with the bath times by wetting the cloth. We managed to get him to hold her for two seconds the other day and he has given her a little kiss on the head the other day too!!

January 6th at 7:40pm, Carter became a big brother to his little sister Hailey Charlet. She weighed 6lbs, 2oz...We are all home and doing great! Carter is enjoying helping with diaper changes but does not want to share his old crib with Hailey, he thinks that mommy and daddy should take it apart and put it back in his room although he has been out of the crib in his car bed for months now.

We had some visitors at the hospital, Nana and Grampie and Carter came to meet our newest addition. We also had Michelle, Shannon and Kelly Nunn pop by for a visit. We only stayed two nights and made it home with Hailey on Tuesday. Carter arrived back from Nana and Grampie's house on Wednesday. To our surprise our first night with the two of them was not nearly as bad as we had thought it might be. Hailey did not wake up Carter and vice versa.....we're just hoping it stays that way.....stay tuned to find out how the rest of our first week goes.

Carter having some fun out in the snow. He's one serious shoveller! He didn't want to get ready to go outside but after he got outside with Daddy playing in the snow, he did not want to come in. They shovelled, threw snowballs and made some snow angels.

We're hoping to get some more snow so we can go out and enjoy the snow while it is here. Carter got a new sled from Santa that he'll hopefully get to use a bit.

Ok....we've been extremely slack with the website...things I can tell you....the day Carter learned to say Baby, we found out that we were pregnant with baby #2. Carter's vocabulary has changed a lot since that day in April. Some of his favorite things to say "Where's daddy?" "Got boots like Grampy?" "Where's Grammy and Pop?" "What are you doing Nana?"

Carter loves playing with Disney Cars! Some of his favorite programs right now include Max and Ruby, Curious George, Toopie and Binoo, and of course, Shrek!

He loves being outside! Lately we've had some snow so he's gotten to go outside and play.

Baby #2 is due on January 11th! Carter knows there is a baby in mommy's tummy however he does not want to share his crib....even though he has been out of his crib for months now in the toddler bed, he does not want a new baby in his crib. Hopefully it will not take him long to adjust.

Now that I'm done working for 2007, hopefully I'll have more time to hop on and keep everyone posted on our daily activities and any new events that occur!

Carter's Yard Sale finds! He got two tractors....a red one and a green one.....still looking for the blue one....or as carter says with his finger pointing "BLUE, BLUE" we're still looking!! And he got a new wagon for only $20!!

We took Carter to Schubie Park over the weekend. He loved it. For the first little while, he sat in his wagon drinking his bubba but once he got out of the wagon that was it. He was off like lightening. Ryan and I had a hard time keeping up. He loved stopping and looking at all the animals. He had a great time mimicking the peacocks...lol!! He loved the freedom of no stroller.
