RAINY WEEKEND - BUT THAT DIDN'T STOP CARTER

What happened this week? Not an lot to be honest. Last weekend Gramma & Grampy Clothier came in and we went for a walk at Fisherman's Cove. Amanda & I were still feeling pretty sick all week but luckily Carter didn't show any signs of being under the weather. Amanda put Carter in the big tub this week and he loved it. Much easier for him to splash around without getting water all over the floor. On Sunday, Carter went to a birthday party for a little girl named Hanna from his playgroup. He had fun sitting on her pink car!!

Just one more week and we are going on vacation. Uncle Jon & Aunt Lauren are coming down from Toronto for a few weeks and we are going to Antigonish to spend some time with them. Its going to be a crazy week at work getting ready for taking a week off, and its going to be busy making sure we have all the household stuff done before enjoying the break.

TODAY WAS A GREAT DAY!

We started out by having a yard sale. Amanda's brother Chad stopped over to try and sell some of his stuff as well. We didn't have too many customers, but we salvaged the day when at the last minute an older fella stopped by and bought bunch of our stuff.






While we were out in the yard, we let Carter play in the grass. He wasn't too sure of it at first, then once he got comfortable he was hard to keep hold of.








Carter also spent some time in the garage so he would be out of the sun, and he decided it would be fun to spin around and around in his exersaucer....he grabbed the broom and though he'd help Daddy clean the garage floor!!!



As the day was still young, and hot & sunny, we packed up and took a trip to the Shubenacadie Wildlife park. Carter really liked the Bobcat that kept walking back and forth in front of him. It was the biggest kitty he's ever seen!!!

Nothing much to report on our front...its still raining. They say were in for 5 days of sun starting tomorrow....so everyone please cross their fingers for us. Maybe we'll be able to get out of the house for a change!!

Who's building the Ark?

Ok...its been raining for almost 10 days now (including two weekends!!!!). We're sick of it. We want to go outside. Please oh please...will someone order us up a biggie sized sun-burger, with a side order of extra heat rays, and a water...oh wait...we've had way too much water...nothing to drink please.

OH...DID I MENTION TODAY IS CARTER'S 9TH MONTH BIRTHDAY!!!!!

We've been slackers!! Its been a busy little while for us and we haven't had the chance to update the blog much lately. Here are a few new pictures of Carter for you to enjoy!

He's crawling full speed ahead and starting to pull himself up on things. Its only a matter of time before he stands up, and falls over! :)

Last weekend Grammy & Poppy MacDonald came up for a visit! They drove up their new 2006 Ford Focus (Red of course). We went to yard sales in the big city and came back with a ton of new toys for Carter. We also had to make a second trip because Poppy & I bought a couple of big things. In the afternoon on Saturday, Poppy & I build some stairs in the back yard so its easier to get over the retaining wall & Amanda could reach her garden better.
