Carter has been busy. He has started eating apples on his own....well...sort of .... he tends to bite it, chew it and then spit it out...lol.... He also likes sharing his apples.

And...he is learning to say "Cheese" for the camera! As you can see from the last photo!

Oh Yum! Yogurt is so much fun! Carter is enjoying his strawberry bananna yogurt!

YUMMY!!! This is Carter's first real experience with oatmiel...He loved it as you can tell from his face. I am trying to teach Carter to eat on his own with spoons, forks and bowls....as you can see it is a work in progress....lol

Daddy decided to take Carter to see the diggers in Burnside. Carter loves any equipment that looks like a digger. He was very excited to see all the machines.

The next couple of days after Christmas we spent with Gramma (Nanna) and Grampy. Carter had quite the surprise when he looked in his bedroom at Gramma's and Grampy's house. There was a ride on horse for at their house.

Carter enjoyed the next couple of days with Gramma and Grampy. On Gramma's birthday, Great Nanny, Great Poppy, Great Auntie Sue, and Great Uncle Wade came for a visit. Carter enjoyed playing with them all, especially playing in the bubbles with Wade.

Carter also got to bake some cookies with Gramma, Grampy took him out for a drive in the truck to look at all the nice Christmas lights and he also got to play with all his new toys keeping him very busy.

When we left the MacDonald's we came home for a night. We wanted to make sure the cats were not left alone for too long. Uncle Chad came for a visit to give Carter his Christmas present. Take a look at the pictures....they speak for themselves.

Our Christmas was great but busy!! We spent Christmas in Antigonish this year. We went up to Grammy and Poppy's house on Saturday, December 23rd. Nutter was excited to be going for a car drive. We timed it right with Carter's nap and he napped the whole ride to Antigonish. It was our first long highway drive in the new van!! We love the van...we put the back seats in the floor and packed it full with our luggage and our Christmas gifts.

Carter was very excited to spend some time with Grammy and Poppy. He enjoyed a lot of Grammy's good cooking and playing toys with Poppy. Poppy even took him out to visit some of the neighbours. Peanut also got spoiled by sleeping with Grammy and Poppy during our visit.

Carter loved playing with the Santa that was on Grammy and Poppy's sundeck. He kept looking out the back window saying Ho Ho Ho! He was very excited Christmas morning when Santa came to visit inside the house by the Christmas tree with all the gifts. It was a slow morning of opening presents with Carter. He knew how to open them but wasn't overly sure of how things worked...lol...that will be next year I guess!
