Today was a busy day! Carter went to bed early last night around 9pm, only woke up once around 2 am for a feeding and then went back to sleep until 6:30am. Since we were up early and fed all before 8:30...and the weather was supposed to be 13 degrees, I thought we would hop in the car and visit Grandma and Grampy out at the land. We packed all the baby things and Peanut in his little red Roots sweater and away we went to the land. Stopped for a yummy Tim Hortons coffee for the drive...not a winner again today on the roll up to win....then stopped for some gas. We got to the land around noon... Carter got to see not only Gramma and Grampy but great Nan, great Pop, great uncle Tim, Aunt Robbie, Cousin Jonathan G., and the other great Nanny and great Poppy. Carter enjoyed spending time with everyone in the sun and Peanut enjoyed peeing on every tree branch possible. We had a weenie roast for lunch and Carter had some squash and peas, along with a bubba to wash it down. Aunt Robbie fed Carter most of his bubba. Gramma sang Carter to sleep. He was all snuggled on her lap. We headed back home around 3:30 and decided to stop to visit Daddy at work. We got home around 5:30pm and Carter was ready for his supper. He finished off his jar of squash, his jar of peas and had some strawberry apples for desert! Yummy! I have to say...I think that was my favorite jar of fruit this far...perhaps we can get Daddy to eat some baby fruit...I bet he would like it. I think we will have to try to bbq something for supper. It is still really nice outside.
